Ovie Oghoufo and Texas Football getting better on defense from the loss to Arkansas Razorbacks. The Texas Longhorns fell Week 2 to their former Southwest Conference rival Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, 40-21. For Texas football it was an extremely tough loss because of how well they played in their Week 1 victory over Louisiana. Texas QB Hudson Card struggled completing just 8/15 passes for 61 yards. But, Casey Thompson came into the game and played better than Card. The two QB's Hudson Card and Casey Thompson battled it out all fall and Card was named the Week 1 starter, but Steve Sarkisian has already named Thompson the starter Week 3 vs. Rice Owls. "Don't let this game define us," is what Steve Sarksian told the team after the loss to Arkansas. On the defensive side of the ball, where Ovie Oghoufo plays, Arkansas owned the line of scrimmage. Texas Longhorns defense gave up 333 yards rushing on 47 carries to the Razorbacks, which is 7 yards per carry and 4 touchdowns. Arkansas was led by Trelon Smith and KJ Jefferson who had the most production in the running game. Talked about the loss to Arkansas, the mindset and prep following a loss. Also what he thought of the environment and rivalry. Ovie mentioned that the hardest part was losing during the game, but after the game it's time to move on and get better from the loss.
