#doitfordave Squamish gold - a sample of popular trails to ride in the Squamish Diamond Head region. 00:10 - Angry M - https://www.trailforks.com/trails/angry-m/ Intermediate trail that flows and winds on a loamy tread through the forest passing over half nelson. No big features here, just the occasional ladders crossing drainages and the ever-present root challenges. Access Info: Accessed by riding up Ring Creek road and continuing past Half Nelson. 04:20 - Fred - https://www.trailforks.com/trails/fred/ The trail is a XC-type trail, with a couple of black diamond sections. No Fred was involved in the build. It was built by a father and son team. On completing the trail the father told his son all trails need a name. His son said "lets call it Fred". After 4 months of arguing with a 3 year old about the name - the name stuck. Access Info To get to the trail, pass the pseudo tsuga shelter, then take the first left (at the road corner). Cross the bridge, then follow the access 2 road. Trail is located up a spur road on the left (south). Look for a large stump with a face on it, and follow that up to the wood carving 08:08 - Tinder - https://www.trailforks.com/trails/tinder/ Tinder is a connector, providing a flowy link between Fred and Your Mom. Funded and constructed by Dream Wizards 12:48 - Your Mom - https://www.trailforks.com/trails/your-mom/ Fun, varied trail. A bermy, flowy start takes you into a little bit of uphill, followed by some more berms and a signature bridge. Final section is steeper and a little more technical 16:56 - Pseudo Tsuga pt.3 - https://www.trailforks.com/trails/pseudotsuga-part-3/ A continuation of Pseudo-Tsuga - Part 1 and Pseudo-Tsuga - Part 2, featuring a few small rollable jumps, a scenic bridge to check out a waterfall, and finishes with a high-speed roller coaster of a section featuring the best berms of the entire trail. Takes riders down to the lower Diamond Head parking lot. There's a reason why that parking lot is generally referred to as the Pseudo lot - the trail takes riders right there
