The Utah Jazz lost a close game to the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night and they will be playing a likely injured Lakers team on Wednesday. With the Jazz, Lakers, and Clippers all duking it out for the first seed it makes us wonder how the Jazz matchup against each team. The Lakers have more size but less depth at the wing positions (aside from Lebron James). The Jazz lack size overall so that might make it tough for the Jazz in a seven-game series but at the same time will the Lakers be able to hold off the three-point barrage from the Jazz? The Clippers pose a different problem. They have elite wing depth and a strong bench that can rival the Jazz depth. The Jazz have a weakness guarding multiple elite wings and have a tough time getting into rhythm against the Clippers defense. The good news is that when Gobert is on there is no one who can contain him on the Clippers and the Jazz have an elite offense that still plays great when it needs to improvise. Overall it's a tough decision but with the team the Jazz have and Quin Snyder running the X's and O's we feel pretty confident that barring any injuries that Jazz could win in a seven-game series.
