Utah Jazz vs Philadelphia 76ers Postgame Analysis

The Utah Jazz went down early to the Philadelphia 76ers tonight in the first quarter, but that did not last long. Jordan Clarkson led the team with a career-high 40 points, 19 of those coming in the first half to help the Jazz take a lead of 6 points to the half. If his performance was not impressive enough, he tied the Jazz franchise record with a total of 8 made three-pointers. Donovan Mitchell (24) and Joe Ingles (20) both did their part to help the Jazz have one of their better offensive nights of the year. After struggling from behind the arc the last few games, Utah went 18-45 for 40 percent, compared to Philadelphia’s 8-23 shooting. Ben Simmons led the game with 42 points, showing why he is an all-star, but 19 of those came in the first quarter, and the Jazz defense slowed him down the rest of the game. Tobias Harris was also on fire, scoring 36 on 3-5 from three. In the end, Utah’s 6 players in double digits were too much for the 4 players in double digits for Philadelphia to handle.
