What's Up YouTube, On The Get Up with Mike Greenberg and Kendrick Perkins they discuss The Toronto Raptors Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi Leonard is a beast! Kendrick Perkins compared Kawhi Leonard to Michael Jordan. Normally, I would disapprove of anyone saying another player is comparable to Michael Jordan. But, I can see where Kendrick Perkins could compare the two. Kawhi Leonard is a beast and he goes hard at both ends of the court. Michael Jordan went hard on both ends of the court. They both played offense just as hard as they played defense! Again, I can see the comparisons. Some of the top players in the NBA, either do not play defense(I will not name any names), or they reserve energy for offense, when they do play defense. The reason why I say Kawhi Leonard is pound for pound the best player in the NBA is because he is the most efficient and distributes his energy on offense and defense evenly. There are very few top players that do that. With that said, I think Kevin Durant is arguably the best player in the NBA right now. Kevin Durant is 7'0, with a jumper from anywhere on the court, and he can defend. I hope everything I said makes sense. Also, the way Kawhi Leonard plays, is G.O.A.T. like. The G.O.A.T. to me plays both sides of the ball, offense and defense. I am not saying Kawhi Leonard is the G.O.A.T., but he is displaying G.O.A.T. like behavior! I hope that makes sense too.
