Controversial ruling in Montana St. at Eastern Washington 2009 (Gilbert catch)

This is another look at a play that was ruled incomplete by Big Sky Conference officials during a 34-24 win for Eastern Washington on Oct. 24, 2009. On the play, Montana State quarterback Cody Kempt rolled to his left on fourth and goal from the 4-yard line with just under eight minutes to play in the game and MSU down 24-28. The catch seemed to be made by MSU freshman wide receiver Everett Gilbert, but officials ruled him out of bounds. Was he? You be the judge. A special thanks goes out to Jeff Freidman, sports anchor at KTVM, for this video
