Despite being held scoreless in the second half against the Dragons last week, the Panthers did enough to maintain their unbeaten start to 2022 and could welcome back Nathan Cleary as early as this week, with the superstar halfback named in the extended squad for the first time this season. Fellow Blues representative Brian To’o will be missing after injuring his knee in the win over the Dragons and will be replaced by Taylan May for just the second game of his young career. The Knights dominated the Tigers to go 2-0 and top of the NRL ladder, and that was after losing two of their stars in the lead-up. Both Kalyn Ponga and Daniel Saifiti slot straight back into fullback and prop respectively, while Mitch Barnett shifts to the second row to replace the injured Lachlan Fitzgibbon.
