Rugby ATL traveled to the Gold Mine in New Orleans to take on southern rival NOLA Gold. The Ratlers defeated NOLA at home on April 24th 38-28. But the Gold Mine would prove to be a tougher venue for Rugby ATL as the Ratlers went for a season sweep over their southern rivals. In a game full of knock-ons and long stretches with no scoring, Rugby ATL came out on top thanks to a NOLA offside penalty and successful Adriaan Carelse conversion that put Atlanta up 8-7 at 71:25 in the second half.
