Alsmeier played volleyball in her youth at FC Leschede in Emsbüren.= = = SCU Emlichheim = = = In the spring of 2016, she signed a two-year contract with SCU Emlichheim. In the summer of 2016, the universal player moved to the volleyball boarding school in Münster and played with the second team of USC Münster for one season in the second Bundesliga North. Since 2017, Alsmeier played in the Bundesliga team of USC.in 2020, she moved to SSC Palmberg Schwerin. Alsmeier also played in the German U18/U19 national team, with which she reached sixth place at the 2017 European U18 Championship in the Netherlands and at the U18 World Championship in Argentina. In 2018, she again finished sixth at the European Under-19 Championship in Albania. In August 2019, Alsmeier made her debut in the A national team at the international match in Münster against Poland.
