Portland State 23, UC Davis 14: Kieran McDonagh ran for a pair of touchdowns and Jonathan Gonzalez kicked three field goals to lead the Vikings to a win in their conference opener. McDonagh scored on runs of 6 and 3 yards in the first half as the Vikings built a 17-0 halftime lead. Portland State rallied to cut the lead to 17-14 on a pair of London Lacy touchdown passes. Nate Tago rushed for 106 yards in the win. Gonzalez connected on kicks of 53, 30 and 19 yards.
