In today's Sixers video I talk about the importance of rookie Matisse Thybulle. Thybulle has been a very good defensive player all season long getting his hands on loose balls, getting one on one steals, blocks, and then all while doing that he is setting up guys like Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson on the fast break which is a huge part of today's NBA. To me outside of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, Matisse is the most valuable player to have on the court. The reason why I think that is because of his collapsing defense and his ability to strip the ball away from some of the best players in the league like, LeBron James, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, and Paul George to name a few of the all stars that have giving up the ball against rookie Matisse Thybulle. If Matisse plays the way he has been on the defensive end and gets his shooting touch back and he shoots the way he did in the beginning of the season, the Sixers could seriously be in the running for a sleeper team to win the NBA Finals.
