The game was put out of reach as soon as the first period, where Andrew Copp netted a natural hat trick, all three goals assisted by Artemi Panarin who finished with four and the first star of the night. The Isles scratched back from there, with Brock Nelon passing the 35 goal threshold, but could not get much closer.
