First, congratulations to Chiefs Leuven, who have completely turned around their season after a terrible start and do seem to deserve this Cup as a reward for their and their coaching staff's efforts. Second, the Mechelen Sharks deserve great praise for the way they played this match - even when behind they kept going and going until the last whistle. The match was excellent and a good advertisment for Belgian ice hockey: hard but fair throughout - and if it had not been for a "Man of the Match" performance by the Chiefs goal tender the result could have been very, very different.
