Cam Jordan, New Orleans Saints Defense Keep Fighting For NFL Playoff Push

The New Orleans Saints have been through so much this season that even being able to talk about them as potential playoff contenders highlights their resilience. Displaced to start the season, down a Hall of Fame quarterback in Drew Brees, several battles through the COVID complications across the NFL, relentless injury news, and so much more. The Saints have had their backs against the wall all season but the team's leaders on the field and off have never stopped punching. Blake Gillikin, JT Gray, and the special teams unit flipped the field with great results. And the defense kept in pursuit of Sam Darnold and the Carolina Panthers, completely shutting them down in the second half, sacking Darnold 7 times, and generating two key takeaways including another game-sealing interception by C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Defensive end Cam Jordan is more than an edge rusher. As an edge defender and unflappable leader, he's been the tone-setter for the New Orleans Saints defense for over a decade and instead of slowing down, he's picking up.
