West Ham United mathematically secured European football for next season following Wednesday's 3-1 away win at relegated West Bromwich Albion. The Hammers will still need at least one point to qualify for the Europa League if they are to aim even higher. Tomàš Souček, Angelo Ogbonna and Michail Antonio scored to seal the win on a cold night in Birmingham. Despite Declan Rice missing a penalty and VAR almost chalking off two goals, West Ham fought back in the final 20 minutes to seal victory. The result also led to West Brom manager Sam Allardyce announcing his resignation moments after the full-time whistle had sounded. Darren Randolph came in for Łukasz Fabiański after the latter was injured before the game. Randolph filled in perfectly, producing key saves and denying West Brom many chances. The Irish goalkeeper has once again proved that he is a reliable second-choice option. Will you be going to see West Ham in Europe next season? Comment below.
