Man Utd have transfer shortlist to solve their centre-back problems in January

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be boosted by fresh defensive additions in January. The Norwegian has been plunged under huge pressure following their Champions League defeat at the hands of RB Leipzig this week, during which they conceded three goals having only needed a draw. That disappointment could push Ed Woodward to once again back Solskjaer in the transfer market, and that could see Harry Maguire handed a new partner in the centre of defence. As well as Ben White, it has been reported that the Red Devils are looking at two well-known stars that might be available in January, including one of their recent opponents.
