The Kazan players got into the game faster: they immediately made it difficult for their opponents to receive the ball, and Maxim Mikhailov was good in attack. However, his opponent, Maxim Sapozhkov, lost his first balls: he was blocked by Mikhail Labinsky and hit an out, forcing Konstantin Bryansky to take a timeout at a score of 2:7. The Kazan players were good in attack and maintained their lead. This continued until Labinsky was blocked twice (18:15). However, Mikhail soon redeemed himself by blocking Sapozhkov again – 23:19. Mikhailov put an end to the game. The debut of the second party was already in favor of Dynamo – 6:1. It was Sapozhkov who was reliable in attack, and he also single-handedly blocked Dmitry Volkov. After Labinsky's attack into out, Kazan's deficit increased to –6, and Alexey Verbov used his second timeout. When Volkov was again under Sapozhkov (6:13), he gave way to Andrei Surmachevsky on the court. And at the score of 10:17, Drazen Luburić replaced Mikhailov. They were unable to turn the tide of the game – the Kazan team made many mistakes in attack, while the Moscow team played almost flawlessly (88%). Volkov, who returned to the court after the break, was blocked twice in a row. Surmachevsky came in instead, but he was also blocked immediately, resulting in a score of 6:10. The Kazan team struggled to find their offensive game. With a score of 11:16, Verbolov made a double substitution, but Mikhail Vyshnikov also faced challenges in coordinating with his attackers, particularly in terms of first-tempo attacks. Dynamo had unstoppable setters Denis Bogdan and Anton Semyshev, who never made mistakes in attack. However, Zenit's setters were struggling. Volkov hit the antenna, and Labinsky was blocked by Pavel Pankov, resulting in a 4-7 score. Soon, the Moscow captain blocked Labinsky again, and Surmachevsky entered the game in his place. Dynamo had a significant advantage in terms of serving and blocking. At 11-15, Vyshnikov replaced Abaev, but the game's dynamics remained unchanged. Dynamo was superior in all aspects, especially in blocking (15-5). VFV - http://www.volley.ru/
