Bodo/Glimt clear snow from pitch just hours before kick-off against Celtic at Aspmyra stadium

Groundstaff employed the use of tractors to clear snow from the pitch ahead of tonight's big game at the Aspmyra Stadium. Groundstaff were hard at work today shifting mountains of snow from the area as they prepare to visit Celtic in a giant Europa Conference League play-off. Celtic's Europa Conference League bid is hanging in the balance after their shock loss against Bodo/Glimt in Glasgow last week. The Norwegians racked up a 3-1 win at Parkhead to put themselves in the driving seat to qualify for the next round of the competition. The Norwegian minnows recorded a stunning 3-1 win in last week's first leg at Celtic Park. Celtic's gaffer chose to forego the chance to train on the artificial surface at the Aspmyra Stadium in favour of the comforts of a morning run-out at Lennoxtown. Here in Scotland we obviously have exposure to artificial pitches, we have already had two games this year on an artificial pitch so there is no a great deal to be gained.
