Why the Texas Rangers SHOULD DRAFT SS, Jordan Lawlar with the #2 overall pick?
In this video, I discuss if the Texas Rangers should draft shortstop Jordan Lawlar with the #2 overall pick in the draft. Jordan Lawlar is a local Texas product from Jesuit High School, and he is committed to Vanderbilt. He is not only one of the best high school players in the draft, but just one of the best players in the draft as well. The Rangers have gone under-slot in the first round for the past couple of years, and I don't think the Lawlar would take under-slot money. The Rangers have also taken college bats in the first round for the past two years, so if that were the case then catcher Henry Davis might make so sense. Enjoy! In this video, I discuss when the Texas Rangers should call-up top first base prospect in Curtis Terry. Ever since Terry was drafted in 2015 out of high school by the Rangers, all he has done is produce at the plate. That has not changed this year at Triple-A Round Rock, as his slash line through 143 AB's is .315/.388/.629. Although, one of the downsides with Terry is that he is only limited to first base, and DH duties. However, I think the bat is for real when it comes to Curtis Terry.
