Montana hosted Montana State on Sunday afternoon in Missoula looking to avoid being swept by the Bobcats for the first time since 2009. UM bounced back from a loss in Bozeman on January 11 with an 80-74 win over MSU in front of 5,285. The win marks the 12th year in a row that the Griz beat the Bobcats in Missoula. The victory moves the Griz to 11-7 in Big Sky Conference play, 18-11 overall. The Bobcats remain in first place in the standings with a 13-4 record. MSU's league win total and overall win total (21) are the most ever in the Big Sky era dating back to 1963.
