Virginia vs. Miami: The Virginia Cavaliers survived a tough one on the road, beating Miami 46-44 on Wednesday. Jay Huff got things started for the Cavs, scoring the first 17 points for Virginia as they built a lead. Chris Lykes kept Miami in it, scoring 14 of his 16 points in the first half before leaving with an injury in the second stanza. It was a close game throughout the second half but Mamadi Diakite and Kihei Clark came up with big shots. including Clark sinking the go-ahead foul shots with eight seconds remaining to secure the win.
