The Islanders' return home to UBS Arena proved to be a welcomed one as they delivered a 4-1 win over the Bruins in arguably their best performance since playing that same opponent two short months ago. Four different players entered the scoring marks with Mat Barzal's goal being the one to push things out of reach. Ilya Sorokin shined in net too amid a stretch in which he'll be asked to do more with Varlamov sitting on the COVID-19 list. The Islanders will need plenty more games like this if they aim to stay relevant in the playoff push with another chance to make up some ground Sunday against the Canadiens.
