Big 10 Football Week 2 Picks | College Football Week 9 | Ohio State vs Penn State & Michigan vs MSU
Big 10 Football is back for another exciting weekend of College Football. Welcome to the Touchdowns To Home Runs Big Ten Football Picks Show. We are in Week 2 of Big 10 Football and College Football Week 9. The Big 10 started out last week with some amazing games. Ohio State had a close one at the beginning vs Nebraska but was able to hold on for the win, Purdue beat Iowa, Michigan beat Minnesota, and of course Indiana upset Penn State in a very close game in overtime. But we're back with a whole new slate of games and we arguably have the best game of the whole year in the Big 10. We have a Friday Night Lights game between Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Maryland Terrapins. Then on Saturday at noon we have the big Michigan rivalry between the Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolverines. Who will win the battle for Michigan in Ann Arbor. Then we have games like Northwestern vs Iowa, Wisconsin vs Nebraska, Purdue vs Illinois, and Indiana vs Rutgers. Then when the sun goes down and the moon comes up in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania, On a cold Halloween night in College Football, we. see two of the best programs of this decade go at it in a thriller on ABC. That is right we are blessed to have Ohio State vs Penn State on Halloween. This game will be pretty good still in my opinion even though Penn State is coming off a loss to Indiana. We get to see Justin Fields and Sean Clifford battle it out and James Franklin vs Ryan Day for the second time ever. Sadly there will be no white out in Penn State this year but the implications on the College Football Playoff remain the same. This is a season defying game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Penn State Nitanny Lions. Michigan was powered today with great games from Hassan Haskins and Aidan Hutchinson, who set the Wolverines single season record for sacks. After trailing by 16 points in the 2nd half, the Michigan State Spartans have comeback to hand the Wolverines their 1st loss of the season, 37-33. Two different times it appeared the Wolverines were on their way to victory. Thanks to a good first half and solid start to the second half, they had a 16 point lead, which they choked and also a 3 point lead, with the ball, before Michigan State recovered a fumble. Today was the Kenneth Walker show. With 197 yards and 5 touchdowns, there's no other way to put it. The Michigan Wolverines (9) barely survive against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, with a final score of 32-29. It wasn’t the most impressive of wins, but the Michigan Wolverines now improve to 6-0. Although their defense thrived in the 1st half, the new look defense of 1st year DC, Mike Macdonald, struggled to stop Adrian Martinez in the 2nd half. With their loss Saturday, the Cornhuskers now fall to 3-4.
