Springboks vs British & Irish Lions Third Test RECAP

Morne Steyn, as he did in 2009, kicked the Springboks to a series victory over the British & Irish Lions on Saturday in a brutal, see-sawing Test match at Cape Town Stadium that will be remembered for generations to come. They do not come much more tense than this. Nor, from a British & Irish Lions perspective, do they come any more gut-wrenching. For the second time this century South Africa have clinched a Lions series by the tiniest of margins via the boot of Morné Steyn, who popped up with a penalty goal in the 79th minute to break the tourists’ hearts, just as he did in Pretoria in 2009. What a crushing disappointment for them, what a desperate sense of deja vu. At least it was a compelling finale to restore neutral faith in rugby at the end of a fractious series. The momentum swung repeatedly in one direction and then the other after Cheslin Kolbe’s 56th-minute try had threatened to kill the contest. The Lions replacement fly-half, Finn Russell, kicked a magnificent 45-metre penalty to tie up the scores at 13-13, only for the dead-eyed Steyn to nudge his team back in front again. Russell levelled the score once more but his opposite number, not for the first time, was working to a different, barely believable script. #LionsRugby #StrongerForever #Springboks If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. England vs Springboks RECAP: England stun Springboks at the death

England scored three tries and rookie flyhalf Marcus Smith had a flawless kicking performance as they defeated the Springboks 27-26 at Twickenham on Saturday. The Springboks scored a sole try and had to eke their points through the boot, while England was more enigmatic with the ball and posed far bigger danger than their visitors. It was the "Rassie revenge game". His name was as obtrusive to proceedings as his body was conspicuously absent. Erasmus face replica masks filled pockets of Twickenham, probably from expat South Africans who couldn't resist a sly dig at World Rugby authorities. The Springboks are a team that fights for courses, and none came closer to their hearts than when one of their own was touched. But England came out of the tunnel with more fight than the aggrieved party. They, too, had revenge foaming in the mouth from their last meeting at International Stadium Yokohama in 2019. The hosts wore the occasion like the rose on their crest. They were white-hot from the start and got at the Boks, swinging huge punches from the first bell. #ENGvRSA #StrongerForever #StongerTogether If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. Argentina vs Springboks Preview | Rugby Championship 2021
Argentina vs Springboks Preview | Rugby Championship 2021

The Springboks will look to kick on when they meet Argentina in a second successive Rugby Championship clash in Gqeberha on Saturday. The defending champions’ depth was on display when a second-string side swept the Pumas aside last weekend. The other key takeaway was how disappointingly limp the Argentinians were. They never posed a real threat on attack nor looked like springing an upset. It was an uncharacteristically uninspired showing from the visitors and what was widely expected to be a tightly-contested clash ended up being a dominant 32-12 tournament-opening triumph for South Africa instead. It’ll be on the Pumas to step up and redeem themselves in the rematch, which is bound to be an even greater challenge with the world champions having recalled their first-choice backline bar Faf de Klerk, who remains sidelined through injury. Despite being in firm control of last weekend’s clash, Siya Kolisi and company stuck to their conservative approach until the end. Having kept Argentina tryless meant the three tries they scored were sufficient for the bonus point, but in bringing back his star back division, it’s clear coach Jacques Nienaber wants a better conversion rate from his charges this weekend. The focus in the visiting camp won’t be on the Handre Pollard-pivoted backline but rather on fronting up better to the source of the Springboks’ success. It’s no secret that the key to beating the pack-powered Springboks is to match them physically. It’s not a technique or tactical adjustment that can be rectified in a week but the Pumas should still be much-improved in this department as they’re a proud bunch and would’ve been disappointed by their meek maiden challenge. #RugbyChampionship #ARGvSA #StrongerForever If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. World Rugby Rankings: Australia drop below Argentina
World Rugby Rankings: Australia drop below Argentina

Australia are now the lowest-ranked of the four teams in The Rugby Championship after suffering a 57-22 defeat in the second of their Bledisloe Cup encounters with New Zealand in Auckland on Saturday. The Wallabies put up a real fight for the first 50 minutes, having only trailed by six points at half-time, but the All Blacks found the attacking rhythm to their game that was missing the previous week to ruthlessly punish their opponents. First-half tries from Rieko Ioane, Brodie Retallick and Ardie Savea were followed after the break by a Codie Taylor double and further scores from Sevu Reece, Will Jordan and David Havili. With Richie Mo’unga nailing five conversions and Beauden Barrett two, in addition to Damian McKenzie’s monster 59-metre penalty, the All Blacks racked up their highest-ever score against the Wallabies. Andrew Kellaway followed up last week’s try with a brace for Australia, which came either side of a try on the stroke of half-time for livewire scrum-half Tate McDermott. Australia lost 0.18 of a rating point as a result of their latest defeat at Eden Park, and that was enough to drop them below Argentina in the World Rugby Men’s Rankings. Los Pumas were also beaten, 32-12 by South Africa, but the defeat in Port Elizabeth did not result in a loss of any rating points. Australia are now down to a record-equalling low of seventh position, on 83.14 points, with Los Pumas one-hundredth of a point better off in sixth. BOKS' LEAD CUT Having gained 0.18 of a point for their comprehensive win over the Wallabies, New Zealand managed to marginally cut down the gap between themselves and South Africa at the top of the rankings to 4.91 points. Elton Jantjies enjoyed one of his best days in a Springbok jersey in what was a fairly comfortable victory for the world champions. The fly-half kicked 17 points and also set up a try with a clever crossfield kick after coming into the side in place of Handré Pollard. Cobus Reinach showed his blistering pace to score South Africa’s first try on 14 minutes, and he was followed over the line four minutes later by Aphelele Fassi who showed great skill to gather in Jantjies’ kick-pass while running at full speed. South Africa had to wait until a minute from time to score their third try through debutant Jaden Hendrikse, but with Jantjies’ matching Nicolás Sánchez kick for kick, the Springboks were always in command. #WorldRugbyRankings #WorldRugby #RugbyChampionship If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. Springboks v British & Irish Lions Third Test Predictions?

South Africa bounced back on Saturday from their loss in the first Test, levelling the series with the British & Irish Lions with a resounding 27-9 victory, setting up an epic finale which Warren Gatland has described as a “cup final”. The Springboks’ victory extended their winning record over the Lions to 23 wins and 17 losses, including six draws. Across the last twelve matches, which includes all tours dating back to 1980, South Africa lead with seven wins and five losses. #BoksvLions #LionsRugby #StrongerForever If you'd like to donate & show support to my channel, you can do so by: ► Become a member: https://bit.ly/2UM5Dp9 ► Patreon Account: http://bit.ly/2GqsDm3 Please Like, Share & Subscribe to Walking Tall with G-MAN ►Please Subscribe: http://bit.ly/2IHrfeW ►Business Enquiries: garethmason3@gmail.com ► Subscribe to my second channel: http://bit.ly/2Gi6Ign Connect with me on my Social Media Channels: ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Jz5lwi ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2YRe0zu ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/32vbqBe ► Tik Tok: https://bit.ly/2RtO0IC ► Music by https://youtube.com/ikson or https://soundcloud.com/ikson Why I created my YouTube Channel: Through my YouTube Channel "Walking Tall with G-MAN" I strive to inspire and motivate people to never give up in life as well as using this platform to share my sporting passion. Springboks beat British & Irish Lions to level series
Springboks beat British & Irish Lions to level series

The Springboks rekindled memories of the 2019 World Cup final as they smashed the British & Irish Lions to level the 2021 series 1-1 and take it to next week’s decider. It ended 27-9. After a week of tension, acrimony, accusations, anger and deflection, the Springboks won the second Test over the British & Irish Lions by simply being the superior team on the field over 80 minutes. Their decisive second-half performance, which yielded 21 unanswered points, was as good as anything this group has produced in the last three years. They simply blew the Lions off the pitch by keeping the tourists scoreless. The series will go to a decider in South Africa for the first time since 1955. There was always a feeling the Boks would improve as the series went on after their disjointed build-up, but the step up they took in the second stanza of the second Test was massive. The momentum of the series has moved completely the way of the home team and the tourists are the ones who will have to come up with answers before next week’s decider. The Lions simply didn’t cope upfront and in the air. Lions fullback Stuart Hogg and wing Duhan van der Merwe were badly exposed as Handre Pollard and Faf de Klerk rained bombs on them all evening. The Lions scrum creaked and their maul defence had no answers as the Boks brought a hard-nosed edge for a full 80 minutes. Springboks v British & Irish Lions Second Test Preview
Springboks v British & Irish Lions Second Test Preview

So, the first Test has been played amidst blood and thunder, with the British & Irish Lions 2021 team rising from the abyss of a 12-3 half-time deficit to claim a 22-17 win. The last time they lost a Test series after winning the opener was against Australia back in 2001. However, if the series follows the patterns of the last tour in 2009, the Springboks still have another level of physicality they can reach. Twelve years ago, their 25-22 win in the second Test at Loftus Versfeld went down in rugby lore as one of the most attritional matches ever played. In 2021, a wounded South Africa are liable to come out like caged lions of their own making. If the Lions win, they will have won a Test series in South Africa for the first time since 1997 – and for only the third time since 1896. Warren Gatland would become only the second coach, alongside Sir Ian McGeechan, to have led two winning Lions tours. Rassie Erasmus calls for RESPECT!
Rassie Erasmus calls for RESPECT!

Rassie Erasmus says he would be willing to step away from SA Rugby’s management team for the final two Tests of the British & Irish Lions series if it would result in fairness and clarity from World Rugby over officiating questions. Rassie Erasmus has offered to step back from South Africa’s series against the British and Irish Lions in an hour-long video that intensifies his online campaign against Warren Gatland’s tourists. Erasmus addressed the camera directly for 62 minutes, raising a number of concerns over the officiating of referee Nic Berry in the Springboks’ 22-17 defeat in last Saturday’s first Test at Cape Town Stadium. South Africa’s director of rugby also defended his role as a water carrier and accuses Berry of treating home captain Siya Kolisi differently to Alun Wyn Jones, the tourists’ skipper. Has the Springboks’ director of rugby lost the plot? Or is he an absolute genius for maintaining his stance?
