AFC Wimbledon vs. Cheltenham | Live Reaction (Feb 1st, 2022)

Boys... we have just came out of a great transfer window, certainly much better than I expected. We sold Palmer to Wrexham for 300k - more than he's worth - then signed Lee Brown, to which I worried that we would not have gotten a striker, at least signed one, but we then went out and got Sam Cosgrove on loan from Shrewsbury. Cosgrove saw just under 0.5 goals per game with 2 seasons playing for Aberdeen a few years ago, and he'll look to return back to that form... HOPEFULLY BY PLAYING A TWO UP TOP, MARK ROBINSON. If we continue to stick with a 1 up top though, Sam Cosgrove is a great replacement for Palmer, as I believe is a younger, more exuberant version of him. Definitely a more proven candidate to play as the lone striker than Ablade or Aaron Cosgrove. Definitely plenty of positives to look at going forward to end the season.
