✅ Subscribe ©Titans Volleyball LIFE ➤ https://goo-gl.me/bxJU1 ===================================================== | Brazil celebrate their gold medal of the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League after defeating Poland in the final. Brazil very convincingly dominated Poland in the final of the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League to win the trophy for the very first time. Here's the reaction after the game, from the virtual Mixed Zone: Bartosz Kurek (Poland): "I was very surprised, but I think that the Most Valuable Player should be only a player of the winning team, so I really don't consider myself that way. Congrats to Brazil and Wallace - amazing player, amazing team. I hope that we are going to meet in the final this season again in another competition and hopefully then we will be a little bit better opponent and hopefully we can get a win then. I think they played amazing in passing, they kept all our hard serves up, they finished every ball after. In the third and fourth set our efficiency in spike dropped and we couldn't find our game. It's a lesson, painful lesson, but hopefully we can get something good out of it." Bruno Rezende (Brazil): "It's amazing. This month was so tough for us to be focused and to be in the bubble - it was something new for everybody. It was a really high-level tournament, but our team deserved it. We have 18 players and staff who every day give 100% of their dedication and that's the main thing of this team. We hope that we make people in Brazil proud of us. Now we have three days of rest and we start to think about Tokyo." Wallace De Souza (Brazil): "I'm very happy, but I'm a part of the team and I am just happy to contribute and do my job for the team. It's the first time for us to win the VNL, so it makes me even happier. We served very well and our pass worked very well, even if Poland served strong - it was a key to success. But also, we didn't make too many own mistakes and it was also very important." The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League was originally to be the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament. 2021 version of VNL originally was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The preliminary round was scheduled to be held in five weeks between May 28 and June 23, 2021. The final round was scheduled to be held during June 26 to 27, 2021. ►► Subscribe NOW & hit the bell! 🔔: https://go.volleyball.world/Subscribe... ▶▶ Watch ALL the Volleyball action https://go.volleyball.world/TV?ytv=d FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA 📱 Instagram: https://go.volleyball.world/Instagram... The Kazan players got into the game faster: they immediately made it difficult for their opponents to receive the ball, and Maxim Mikhailov was good in attack. However, his opponent, Maxim Sapozhkov, lost his first balls: he was blocked by Mikhail Labinsky and hit an out, forcing Konstantin Bryansky to take a timeout at a score of 2:7. The Kazan players were good in attack and maintained their lead. This continued until Labinsky was blocked twice (18:15). However, Mikhail soon redeemed himself by blocking Sapozhkov again – 23:19. Mikhailov put an end to the game. The debut of the second party was already in favor of Dynamo – 6:1. It was Sapozhkov who was reliable in attack, and he also single-handedly blocked Dmitry Volkov. After Labinsky's attack into out, Kazan's deficit increased to –6, and Alexey Verbov used his second timeout. When Volkov was again under Sapozhkov (6:13), he gave way to Andrei Surmachevsky on the court. And at the score of 10:17, Drazen Luburić replaced Mikhailov. They were unable to turn the tide of the game – the Kazan team made many mistakes in attack, while the Moscow team played almost flawlessly (88%). Volkov, who returned to the court after the break, was blocked twice in a row. Surmachevsky came in instead, but he was also blocked immediately, resulting in a score of 6:10. The Kazan team struggled to find their offensive game. With a score of 11:16, Verbolov made a double substitution, but Mikhail Vyshnikov also faced challenges in coordinating with his attackers, particularly in terms of first-tempo attacks. Dynamo had unstoppable setters Denis Bogdan and Anton Semyshev, who never made mistakes in attack. However, Zenit's setters were struggling. Volkov hit the antenna, and Labinsky was blocked by Pavel Pankov, resulting in a 4-7 score. Soon, the Moscow captain blocked Labinsky again, and Surmachevsky entered the game in his place. Dynamo had a significant advantage in terms of serving and blocking. At 11-15, Vyshnikov replaced Abaev, but the game's dynamics remained unchanged. Dynamo was superior in all aspects, especially in blocking (15-5). VFV - http://www.volley.ru/
