Sunderland avoided defeat for the first time in 4 matches as we drew 2-2 away at Hull this evening. Jordan Jones put us ahead in the 10th minute before Josh Magennis got the equaliser after some poor defending from Sunderland. Callum Elder handled the ball in the box which saw Grant Leadbitter convert from the spot to put us back in front. Josh Magennis got his and Hull's 2nd on 70 minutes to ensure the spoils were shared. With Peterborough losing tonight, it almost feels as though we've missed any opportunity to close the gap and playoffs is basically certain now. We've got Accrington at home which will hopefully bring us our first win in 3 weeks. My MOTM is Jordan Jones. #SunderlandAFC #HullCity #Match Review.

Well, we've done it. 2 (maybe 3) cup finals to go. Let's see what happens? #safc #sunderlandafc #prestonnorthend.
It was inevitable that we wouldn't win today. But, a point's a point. All to do on Monday now. #safc #sunderlandafc #watford.
West Brom players dived like 20 times in that match, yet it's Sunderland who come away with the points. First win at The ...
Birmingham fans hit a child with a pyro, had their fans segregated and still came away with nothing. Forever in Villa's shadow.
