Scotland goal hero John McGinn says he LOVED hearing the Hampden Roar during their win over Israel

JOHN McGINN was in dreamland as Scotland seized control of their World Cup destiny. The goal hero had never heard the famous Hampden Roar before — despite winning his 39th cap last night. The crunch qualifier against Israel was the first time the national stadium had been sold out in FOUR years. Talisman McGinn, who bagged Scotland’s first, told how the Tartan Army had propelled Steve Clarke’s men to a famous 3-2 win. The former Hibs midfielder said: “That is my 39th cap and my first ever full house for Scotland. “It was like the games I used to come to when I was younger, Ukraine at home on a Saturday at 3pm, the Czech Republic — all those ones where you dream about playing for Scotland. “Tonight is one of those that it’s just become a reality. “I don’t think it’s sunk in yet, but we’re certainly giving the Scottish supporters a team to be proud of again.
