Chippa United - In talks with Ex - Bafana Bafana Coach

Chippa United is currently negotiating with the former Bafana Bafana head coach Ephraim Shakes Mashaba. Dan Malesela was fired following the 5-1 loss against Maritzburg United coached by the German born Ernst Middendorp. Chippa Mpengesi tried to recruit Luc Eymael from Belgium but due to his post interview in Tanzania and pressure that was put to Mpengesi he was forced not to employ him. The last time Mashaba coached a club in South Africa was back in 2019 in the Glad Africa Championship Witbank Spurs .
