BECOMING a PRO BASEBALL & SOFTBALL PLAYER in 2 HOURS
When we were in highschool our gym teacher would let us play baseball every now and then. Probably because it requires almost no preparation, but also because it was a lot of fun and everybody loved it. The losers would hit the ball with a tennis racket and the real ones would dare to use the bat! I've always been fascinated by this sport, but it wasn't really a thing here in Belgium. Well that's what I thought! Apparently we have a great Belgian team and many clubs that play baseball and softball. We met up with Maarten who's a player for the Belgian Softball team and coach of the Poperinge Frontliners. Maybe he can teach us a thing or two about hitting balls with a stick. 'Rugby Sevens' is the Olympic variant of classic rugby and it's insanely intensive. I puked, fucked up my leg and got my balls crushed. But the main question is: did we regret this decision? Hell no. We've been getting a lot of requests from you all to try out Quidditch. Yes, you read that right: Quidditch, the sport from Harry Potter. Apparently it's been adopted by the real world and there are a shitload of real teams in the world. We met up with the Belgian National Quidditch Team aka The Belgian Gryffins to teach us how the game is played. To explain it very easily: it's a mix between rugby, basketball and dodgeball. I must say it's incredibly intense and actually really fun to play. Much respect to all quidditch players. We always dreamed of playing golf, so we met up with Thomas Pieters aka the farmerboy of golf aka little tiger. He's an absolute legend and will also compete in the Olympics representing Belgium, so we had to make a video with him. I always thought golfing was for rich people. Maybe because everybody looks too damn classy with their polo's and shit. But now it turns out, golfing is actually pretty accessible to people.
