'Amazing player'... Manchester United agree to £40m opponent's Old Trafford performance
Brighton gave Manchester United a real scare at Old Trafford on Sunday night. The Seagulls were effective in frustrating United for the best part of an hour, before Marcus Rashford and then Mason Greenwood scored crucial goals. Key to Brighton’s performance was midfielder Yves Bissouma, 24. The Malian helped to frustrate United and he defended really well, helping to nullify Bruno Fernandes’ impact in the first half. ESPN reported at the start of the year that United were among Bissouma’s many admirers. We have previously looked at three reasons why the midfielder would be a shrewd addition for United.
