The Tri-City Storm’s comeback efforts fell short in Saturday’s 4-3 home loss to the Sioux City Musketeers. The Storm scored the final three goals of the game after falling behind 4-0 in the 1st period. Jeremy Wilmer, Drew Montgomery, and Ilya Nikolaev scored Tri-City's goals in the game. The Storm dropped back-to-back home games this weekend, and now must win Game #3 on Tuesday, May 10th, to continue play in the Western Conference Finals. Sebastian Wraneschitz recorded the loss in goal for the Storm after making 7 saves on 11 shots in the opening twenty minutes of play. Arsenii Sergeev finished the game in net for Tri-City, and stopped all 10 of Sioux City’s shots. Alex Tracy captured the win in goal for the Musketeers after turning away 21 of the Storm’s 24 shots on net. Saturday’s game was played in front of a crowd of 2,542 at the Viaero Center.
