Betis vs Ath Bilbao 23/9/2018 Lineup Preview & Prediction | SPAIN LaLiga - Round 5 2018/2019

#Betis #AthBilbao ------------------------------- Betis return to La Liga (LL) action after making their Europa League debut with a 0-0 draw at Olympiacos. Still undefeated in LL, Athletic Bilbao visit the Benito Villamarín stadium for their first away game of the season hoping to take advantage of possible fatigue in the Betis team. After an opening day defeat, Betis have made the most of the only goal that they have scored in the last three games, gaining five points with two draws (both 0-0) and a home win in the Andalucian derby (1-0). In practice this means that their last three LL games have each seen under 1.5 goals. Last Saturday’s draw against Real Madrid (1-1) should be a morale-booster for Athletic and means that they are still undefeated this season (W1, D2). The last time they went four undefeated was way back in 1993/94. With all three of their games played at home this season, Athletic now travel away where they have been poor with just a solitary win in ten LL games (W1, D3, L6). Nonetheless, Athletic Bilbao have only lost one of their last nine games against Betis in LL. Additionally, Betis haven’t been able to score more than one goal in the last eleven competitive games against the ‘Leones’ (seven goals in 11 games). Players to watch: Tony Sanabria, with 17 league appearances, eight goals last season, is Betis’ best hope of improving their goal scoring rate. Raúl Garcia was top scorer for the ‘Leones’ (ATH) last season in LL. However, he is yet to score this season. Stat attack: Betis have only lost one game of their last eight home league games. Athletic have scored three out of the five goals in the first half so far in LL. Pau López has gone 270 minutes without conceding a LL goal for Betis.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle lineup, previews & predictions | ENGLAND Premier League 2018 / 2019 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystal Palace are on the hunt for their first Premier League (PL) home points and goals of the season as Newcastle roll-up to Selhurst Park. With three of the last six H2Hs ending in a draw, this could be a tight match. Palace have scored just four goals in five matches (W2, L3), keeping a clean sheet in their two wins so far - both coming away from home. It may be too early to know if fitness is an issue, but from Palace’s combined goals for, and conceded, tally over their five PL games, they have a positive goal score of 2-1 in the first-half, and a negative of 2-5 in the second. Newcastle, meanwhile, suffered another narrow defeat in the last round as Arsenal took all three points at St. James Park. ‘The Magpies’ have lost four of five matches this season, remarkably all defeats ended 2-1! It’s now five away PL matches without a win for Newcastle (D1, L4), scoring a paltry two goals in that period. With such goal-scoring troubles, the team sits in 19th place, despite conceding less goals than nine other teams. Players to watch: Wilfried Zaha is crucially important to this Palace team. He became the club’s all time PL top-scorer earlier this season, and has three goals in his last four PL starts. Joselu, meanwhile, has scored two goals for Newcastle so far. Stat attack: Five of Palace’s six matches this season (in all competitions) have ended under 2.5 goals, as have four of the last five H2Hs. Newcastle have scored the first goal in seven of the last eight league H2Hs. Andre Marriner will referee the match at Selhurst, as he did last season. He’s pulled out his yellow cards 13 times in four PL matches so far this season (3.25 on average per match).
