Ole Miss Rebels backup quarterback, John Rhys Plumlee, has decided to enter the transfer portal. Plumlee rushed for over 1,000 yards as the starter for the Rebels back in 2019, but lost the job to Matt Corral after coach Lane Kiffin changed offensive coordinators from Rich Rodriguez to Jeff Lebby. Now, Plumlee wants to try his hand at another school to see if he can get back to being a starting quarterback again. Would Plumlee fit in at West Virginia? Minnesota Golden Gophers backup quarterback, Zack Annexstad, has entered his name into the transfer portal as well. After losing his starting job due to injury in 2018, Annexstad has been the backup for Tanner Morgan.
