Marshall, ODU & Southern Miss Leaving C-USA NOW?!
College football conference realignment continues to be in the news. In this Marshall, ODU & Southern Miss Leaving C-USA Now video, I will talk about the Conference USA standoff against the three schools as they try to depart the conference and join the Sun Belt Conference a year earlier than originally planned. I will talk about the impact this disagreement could have on other teams in C-USA, as well as it’s affect on the Sun Belt Conference and the NCAA as a whole. After Texas & Oklahoma announced in August 2021 that they were planning to leave the Big 12 for the SEC, it started the domino effect of conference realignment. One of those dominoes was Cincinnati, Houston & UCF leaving the AAC for the Big 12. This led to the AAC taking teams from the Sun Belt and Conference USA. To replace those teams who were leaving for the AAC, the Sun Belt invited three more C-USA schools; Marshall, Old Dominion & Southern Miss, to join the conference. The schools accepted, thus leaving even more holes to fill in C-USA. The original agreement was for the three schools to leave after the 2022-23 season. Now, they have all decided to try & leave by summer 2022. The conference is fighting back. Find out how in the video and get my opinion on who eventually wins this standoff and how it should end. #CollegeFootball #CUSA #C2CNetwork 🏈To contribute to Couz's Corner:🏀 Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/CouzsCorner PayPal: https://paypal.me/couzscorner?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US CashApp: https://cash.app/$CouzsCorner Do your Amazon shopping here: https://amzn.to/3I4H9gT 🌟Patreon🌟: https://www.patreon.com/couzscorner ✨Email: couz.walker@gmail.com ✨ Sports Illustrated Article: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/southern-miss-marshall-old-dominion-announce-intentions-to-leave-conference-usa-early-ahead-of-sun-belt-move/amp/ Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Coast-2-Coast-CFB-Network-102992498926603/ Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Twitter: https://twitter.com/coast2coastcfb?s=21 Couz on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/couz206 Subscribe: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSports This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers. Why Did the ACC Stop College Football Playoff Expansion? | Are There Ulterior Motives?
In this video, Why Did the ACC Stop College Football Playoff Expansion? | Are There Ulterior Motives, I will discuss the reasons given by ACC Commissioner, Jim Phillips, as to why he does not support expansion of the College Football Playoffs at this time. I will give my opinion on this reasoning and also tell you two other reasons why Mr. Phillips may have voted the way he did. On Friday, January 14, 2022, ACC Commissioner, Jim Phillips talked with the media via conference call and laid out why he does not currently support expanding the College Football Playoff. Among the reasons are concerns about layer health & safety, an extended season impacting academics, and all the other chaos surrounding college athletics. Some fans believe that this move by the ACC is a ploy to try and force Notre Dame to join the conference in football. Or, could it be Phillips’s way of “sticking it to the SEC?” I’ll tell you which of these I believe. #collegefootballplayoff #ACC #C2CNetwork CBS Sports Article by Dennis Dodd: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/jim-phillips-details-accs-opposition-to-college-football-playoff-expansion-while-calling-for-reform/ 🌟Patreon🌟: https://www.patreon.com/couzscorner Fanatics link: http://fanatics.93n6tx.net/DVODYG Amazon link (do not have to buy product shown): https://amzn.to/3I4H9gT Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Coast-2-Coast-CFB-Network-102992498926603/ Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Twitter: https://twitter.com/coast2coastcfb?s=21 Couz on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/couz206 Subscribe: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSports This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers. Should West Virginia Get a Quarterback From the Transfer Portal? | Who Are the Best Options?
http://fanatics.93n6tx.net/DVODYG In this video, Should West Virginia Get a Quarterback From the Transfer Portal? | Who Are the Best Options, I will talk about whether or not I think the Mountaineer staff should dip into the portal to replace Jarret Doege. I will also give you three quarterbacks that remain in the portal that may be a possible target for West Virginia and I will rank those three players and tell you why or why not they are a good fit. Ole Miss Rebels backup quarterback, John Rhys Plumlee, has decided to enter the transfer portal. Plumlee rushed for over 1,000 yards as the starter for the Rebels back in 2019, but lost the job to Matt Corral after coach Lane Kiffin changed offensive coordinators from Rich Rodriguez to Jeff Lebby. Now, Plumlee wants to try his hand at another school to see if he can get back to being a starting quarterback again. Would Plumlee fit in at West Virginia? Minnesota Golden Gophers backup quarterback, Zack Annexstad, has entered his name into the transfer portal as well. After losing his starting job due to injury in 2018, Annexstad has been the backup for Tanner Morgan. After Morgan announced he was returning for his final year at Minnesota, Annexstad decided to move on from the Gophers program. Would he be a possible fit at West Virginia? Finally, BYU's backup quarterback, Baylor Romney has also entered his name into the transfer portal. The three year veteran has experienced some success on the field for the Cougars when given the opportunity, but has not been able to win the starting job. Now, he has decided to move on from Brigham Young and see what his future holds. Could he be a solution to the quarterback questions that exist for the Mountaineers? I will tell you what I think about Romney and the other two quarterbacks in this video. #HailWV #TransferPortal #C2CNetwork _________________________________________________________________________ Chapters: 00:00 - Intro. 00:43 - West Virginia Quarterback Situation & Should the Mountaineers Dip Into the Transfer Portal 02:39 - John Rhys Plumlee from Ole Miss 04:00 - Zack Annexstad from Minnesota 06:23 - Baylor Romney from BYU 09:34 - Outro ________________________________________________________________________ 🌟Patreon🌟: https://www.patreon.com/couzscorner Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Coast-2-Coast-CFB-Network-102992498926603/ Coast 2 Coast CFB Network on Twitter: https://twitter.com/coast2coastcfb?s=21 Couz on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/couz206 Subscribe: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSports This channel is dedicated to covering college football and basketball, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers. Alabama vs Georgia National Championship Prediction 2021
Alabama vs Georgia National Championship Prediction 2021 will be the topic of today's College Football preview & prediction video. I brought in guest Coach Williams & Coach Chatman to discuss the upcoming College Football National Championship between the Alabama Crimson Tide & Georgia Bulldogs. The Alabama Crimson Tide recently beat the Georgia Bulldogs just a couple weeks ago in the SEC Championship game but so much has changed & we will be discussing all of it. Alabama had to beat the #4 Cincinnati Bearcats to get to the National Championship & they did so with ease by winning 27-6. Alabama running back Brian Robinson led the way with 204 yards which was a bowl best for any Alabama running back. The Georgia Bulldogs beat the #2 Michigan Wolverines badly & it didn't even seem like Georgia & Michigan should have even been on the same field. Georgia has been led by their extremely talented defense, but it seems as though Alabama may have found the chink in the armor during the SEC Championship game. This Georgia football team will have to rely heavily on Stetson Bennett's arm once again to try to stretch this Alabama defense to give those Georgia running backs some room to run. - 🏈 Subscribe Now: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcMw23499i6QR_0YgR6aQiQ?sub_confirmation=1 - Chapters: 00:00 - Introduction 03:55 - SEC Championship Game ReCap 07:26 - Georgia vs Michigan ReCap 15:14 - Alabama vs Georgia National Championship Preview - Follow Coach "Bull" Jones: 📱 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kevin.jones.1690671 📱 Twitter: https://twitter.com/CoachBullJones - Follow our Guest: 🧍 Coach Williams Twitter: https://twitter.com/coachjoe_pa 🧍 Coach Chatman Twitter: https://twitter.com/Coach_Chatman09 - 🌟 Follow Coast 2 Coast CFB Network 🌟 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Coast2CoastCFB Twitter: https://twitter.com/Coast2CoastCFB #RollTide #GoDawgs #C2CNetwork
