The Oregon Ducks are on the road as they travel to face the Colorado Buffaloes Thursday night. Oregon comes in off a 78-56 home victory over in-state rival Oregon in their previous contest Saturday night. Colorado was clobbered 70-43 by Washington State on the road in their previous contest Saturday night. In the all-time series between the programs, the Buffaloes own a 14-10 advantage heading into this contest. That includes an 82-78 road victory in the first matchup this season back on January 25. Oregon Ducks Looking to Earn Season Split Oregon bounced back from their home loss to Colorado by waffling Oregon State at home Saturday for their sixth win in seven games. The Ducks improved to 13-7 overall and are 6-3 in the Pac-12, leaving them tied for fourth in the conference standings. Against Oregon State, Oregon trailed by one midway through the first half only to reel off a 12-0 run to lead 28-17 with 6:38 to play in the half. Their advantage reached 19 at the half and the Ducks didn’t allow the Beavers to make a sustained push after that to wind up with the loss. Oregon shot 55.4% from the field, including nine of 27 from three-point range and held Oregon State to 30.3% in the contest. Jacob Young led the Ducks with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists in the victory. Colorado Buffaloes Hoping to Get Back on Track Colorado comes in losers of two straight, four of five and five of their last seven after an 11-3 start to the year as they were trounced by Washington State on the road. The Buffaloes dropped to 13-8 overall and 5-6 in the Pac-12, leaving them eighth in the conference. Against Washington State, Colorado was even early before giving up a 17-1 run to trail 22-6 midway through the first half. The Buffaloes never made a run after that as they trailed 39-18 at the half. Their deficit reached as many as 35 in the second half en route to the loss. Colorado shot a dismal 28.6% from the field, including six of 18 from three-point range, and lost the rebounding battle 39-30. Jabari Walker led the Buffaloes with 11 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
