West Ham failed to beat Brighton on Saturday. Again. It's a pathetic record and the latest installment in the tragic Seagull saga had far bigger ramifications for West Ham's season as it all but killed their Champions League hopes. It turns out that dream officially died just as Will Pugh, Tom Edwards and James Jones wrapped up this podcast as Chelsea beat Leicester at home. Unfortunately, after the 1-1 draw at the Amex, the Hammers also made it bloody hard for themselves to qualify for the Europa League as they slipped to seventh behind Tottenham. Spurs still meet Leicester who will be scrapping for their own Champions League spot so it's still all to play for but West Ham HAVE to win their last two to stand a chance at Europa.
