The Montreal Canadiens played tonight in the Air Canada Center against the Ottawa Senators and would beat them by a final score of 4-1. Phillip Danault would open the scoring in the 1st period before Paul Byron would score the 8th shorthanded goal of the season to make it 2-0. In the 3rd period it would be Corey Perry and Brendan Gallagher scoring for a 4-0 lead until Nick Paul would break the shutout for Jake Allen with less than 3 to play, that would be the final score 4-1 for a Canadiens victory.
