Sunderland picked up their first win in 30 days as they beat Plymouth 3-1. Ross Stewart opened the scoring with a lovely finish from a tight angle in the first half. Joe Edwards equalised for Argyle after some poor defending from Sunderland. However, Jerome Opoku was sent off only a minute later which saw Sunderland dominate the rest of the half. Chris Maguire put Sunderland ahead in the 84th minute with a lovely penalty before Denver Hume wrapped things up in added time with an easy tap in. Sunderland secured their spot in the play-offs with this win. Will we go up through the play-offs? Peterborough dramatically got promoted after coming from 3-0 down to draw with Lincoln and Rochdale and Northampton were relegated after losing their games.
