Original complete WWOR broadcast with Ralph Kiner, Tim McCarver, Steve Zabriskie and Rusty Staub from Shea Stadium what turns out to be the first extra inning game for the Mets in '88 and the sixth for the Reds. Dennis Rasmussen vs Doc Gooden as both pitchers pitch a great game as Rasmussen goes six innings allowing only two runs and five hits and striking out five. As Gooden goes nine innings keeping the Reds scoring two runs over eleven hits as Randy Myers comes in the 9th reliving Gooden and allows the sixth HR for Chris Sabo the hitting star for the Reds to give the Reds the lead until Darryl Strawberry's (with four RBI's) including the walk off two run HR in the bottom of the tenth and wins New York in dramatic fashion. Recorded and Digitalized off a pre recorded VHS tape (converted to DVD in 2002) and now restored up on my youtube page making its debut. some audio and video break ups in the 1st inning.
