Houston was starting their 3-rd round rookie quarterback Davis Mills after the starter, Tyrod Taylor, suffered an injury vs. the Browns last week. Mills didn’t receive much help from the Texans rushing attack as they ended the game with a measly 42 rushing yards. The defense had holes allowing Sam Darnold and D.J. Moore to connect 8 times for 126 yards. Houston’s defense did force 2 fumbles in the game but both were recovered by the Panthers.
