The Bowling Green Hot Rods are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the Class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. They are located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and play their home games at Bowling Green Ballpark which opened in 2009.

The Asheville Tourists are a minor league baseball team based in Asheville, North Carolina. They play in the Class A South Atlantic League and have been a farm team of the Colorado Rockies since 1994.

McCormick Field Raceway

McCormick Field Raceway was constructed around 1957 and was a quarter-mile oval track built around a baseball diamond after Asheville, North Carolina had lost its minor league team. The track hosted weekly stock car races, a pair of NASCAR Convertible Series , and one Grand National (now NASCAR Cup Series) race.
