Olympiacos B.C.

Olympiacos B.C. , commonly referred to as Olympiacos and Olympiacos Piraeus, is a Greek professional basketball club based in Piraeus, part of the major multi-sport club, Olympiacos CFP. The team currently competes only in the EuroLeague, after their decision to withdraw from the 2018–19 games against arch-rival Panathinaikos over long-standing refereeing disputes; thus, the club is represented by a reserve team for the domestic competitions, called Olympiacos B.C. B Development Team. The parent club was founded in 1925, with the basketball team created in 1931, and their home ground is the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus.

In the season 2007–08, Olympiacos was considered amongst the favourites to reach the Final Four of the EuroLeague. It is also considered the favourite along with Panathinaikos in the A1 Ethniki.
