Fotbal Club Buzău , commonly known as FC Buzău or simply as Buzău, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Buzău, Buzău County, currently playing in the Liga II. Founded in the summer of 2016 as FC Buzău, it was renamed SCM Gloria Buzău two years later, simultaneously with its incorporation in the new sports club of the city. "The Squad from Crâng" started playing in the fifth tier and earned three consecutive promotions up to Liga II. In 2021, the team returned to the name of FC Buzău.

The club was founded on 25 May 1926 as UD (Uzinele și Domeniile) Reșița and throughout its almost centennial history survived to many sharp ups and downs, from a national title in 1931 and a silver medal in 1932 to the last shine in the late 1990s, several reorganizations in the 2000s and an almost fatal fall at the level of amateur leagues during the 2010s. Over time CSM had important battles with local rivals as Muncitorul Reșița or Gloria Reșița, but has secured itself the city's supremacy, as well as the title of county's most important and supported club.

The club was founded in 2014 as HC Adrian Petrea Reșița, to continue the handball tradition from town, after the dissolution of a much greater club UCM Reșița. After a few seasons in the Liga Națională, the club encountered financial difficulties and retired in the middle of the 2016–17 season.In the summer of 2017 HC Adrian Petrea Reșița was refounded and re-organized as CSM Școlar Reșița, being the handball section of CSM Școlar Reșița.
