Gyrator
Gyrator

A gyrator is a passive, linear, lossless, two-port electrical network element proposed in 1948 by Bernard D. H. Tellegen as a hypothetical fifth linear element after the resistor, capacitor, inductor and ideal transformer. Unlike the four conventional elements, the gyrator is non-reciprocal.

Gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron
Gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron

In geometry, the gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron is one of the Johnson solids . A Johnson solid is one of 92 strictly convex polyhedra that have regular faces but are not uniform (that is, they are not Platonic solids, Archimedean solids, prisms or antiprisms).

Gyration

In geometry, a gyration is a rotation in a discrete subgroup of symmetries of the Euclidean plane such that the subgroup does not also contain a reflection symmetry whose axis passes through the center of rotational symmetry. In the orbifold corresponding to the subgroup, a gyration corresponds to a rotation point that does not lie on a mirror, called a gyration point.

Gyration tensor

In physics, the gyration tensor is a tensor that describes the second moments of position of a collection of particles

Gyratory System

Gyratory System is a three-piece music band based in London. It is fronted by producer/trumpet player Andrew Blick.

Gyrate (album)

Gyrate is the debut studio album by American rock band Pylon, released in 1980 by record label DB.

Gyratory equipment
Gyratory equipment

Gyratory equipment, used in mechanical screening and sieving is based on a circular motion of the machine. Unlike other methods, gyratory screen operates in a gentler manner and is more suited to handle fragile products, enabling it to produce finer products.

Roundabout
Roundabout

A roundabout is a type of circular intersection or junction in which road traffic flows almost continuously in one direction around a central island. So-called "modern" roundabouts require entering traffic to give way to traffic already in the circle and optimally observe various design rules to increase safety.

Crusher
Crusher

A crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller rocks, gravel, or rock dust. Crushers may be used to reduce the size, or change the form, of waste materials so they can be more easily disposed of or recycled, or to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials , so that pieces of different composition can be differentiated.

Tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb
Tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb

The tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb, alternated cubic honeycomb is a quasiregular space-filling tessellation in Euclidean 3-space. It is composed of alternating octahedra and tetrahedra in a ratio of 1:2.

Binary number
Binary number

In mathematics and digital electronics, a binary number is a number expressed in the base-2 numeral system or binary numeral system, which uses only two symbols: typically "0" and "1" (one). The base-2 numeral system is a positional notation with a radix of 2.

BARK (computer)
BARK (computer)

BARK Relä-Kalkylator, lit. 'Binary Arithmetic (Automatic) Relay Calculator') was an early electromechanical computer.

ThinkFun

ThinkFun, formerly known as Binary Arts, is a toy and board game company founded in 1985 by Bill Ritchie and Andrea Barthello. The two started the company from the basement of their home in Virginia, with a product base that initially consisted of four games invented by a family friend William Keister .
