Gyrator
Gyrator

A gyrator is a passive, linear, lossless, two-port electrical network element proposed in 1948 by Bernard D. H. Tellegen as a hypothetical fifth linear element after the resistor, capacitor, inductor and ideal transformer. Unlike the four conventional elements, the gyrator is non-reciprocal.

Gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron
Gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron

In geometry, the gyrate rhombicosidodecahedron is one of the Johnson solids . A Johnson solid is one of 92 strictly convex polyhedra that have regular faces but are not uniform (that is, they are not Platonic solids, Archimedean solids, prisms or antiprisms).

Gyration

In geometry, a gyration is a rotation in a discrete subgroup of symmetries of the Euclidean plane such that the subgroup does not also contain a reflection symmetry whose axis passes through the center of rotational symmetry. In the orbifold corresponding to the subgroup, a gyration corresponds to a rotation point that does not lie on a mirror, called a gyration point.

Gyration tensor

In physics, the gyration tensor is a tensor that describes the second moments of position of a collection of particles

Gyratory System

Gyratory System is a three-piece music band based in London. It is fronted by producer/trumpet player Andrew Blick.

Gyrate (album)

Gyrate is the debut studio album by American rock band Pylon, released in 1980 by record label DB.

Gyratory equipment
Gyratory equipment

Gyratory equipment, used in mechanical screening and sieving is based on a circular motion of the machine. Unlike other methods, gyratory screen operates in a gentler manner and is more suited to handle fragile products, enabling it to produce finer products.

Roundabout
Roundabout

A roundabout is a type of circular intersection or junction in which road traffic flows almost continuously in one direction around a central island. So-called "modern" roundabouts require entering traffic to give way to traffic already in the circle and optimally observe various design rules to increase safety.

Crusher
Crusher

A crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller rocks, gravel, or rock dust. Crushers may be used to reduce the size, or change the form, of waste materials so they can be more easily disposed of or recycled, or to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials , so that pieces of different composition can be differentiated.

Tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb
Tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb

The tetrahedral-octahedral honeycomb, alternated cubic honeycomb is a quasiregular space-filling tessellation in Euclidean 3-space. It is composed of alternating octahedra and tetrahedra in a ratio of 1:2.

Galkan Winter Sports Centre

The Galkan Winter Sports Centre is a hockey indoor arena in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It was built on the territory of the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan in 2014 and holds 630 spectators.

Galvanization
Galvanization

Galvanization or galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which the parts are submerged in a bath of molten hot zinc.
