New York City Criminal Court

The New York City Campaign Finance Board is an independent New York City agency that serves to provide campaign finance information to the public, enable more citizens to run for office by granting public matching funds, increase voter participation and awareness, strengthen the role of small contributors, and reduce the potential for actual or perceived corruption.The agency's history dates back to the mid-1980s, when New York City Mayor Ed Koch introduced a series of ethics reforms in response to several high-profile corruption scandals. These reforms included the Campaign Finance Act, which was adopted on February 29, 1988, by the New York City Council.

The 2013 election for New York City Comptroller was held on November 5, 2013, along with elections for Mayor, Public Advocate, Borough Presidents, and members of the New York City Council. The first-term incumbent Comptroller, John Liu, did not run for re-election, as he decided to run in the 2013 election for Mayor of New York City.
Hudson River Derby
The Hudson River Derby, also known as the New York derby, is the name given to the soccer local derby between the two teams based in the New York metropolitan area, New York Red Bulls and New York City FC. First played in 2015, the rivalry between the two started almost as soon as the announcement was made of the formation of NYCFC in 2013.Early on in the rivalry's history, the Red Bulls dominated the fixture, winning the first four games in the all-time series including one 7–0. Since this game, however, New York City has gained traction in the derby, winning four of the last seven games in the season series and taking points in four of them (NYCFC had taken points in four straight league games).
