Ήταν η δεύτερη αγωνιστική εκείνης της σεζόν και το πρώτο εντός έδρας παιχνίδι για τους Κορίνθιους οι οποίοι ήλπιζαν σε ένα νέο ξεκίνημα μετά την πτώση της ομάδας από την πρώτη στην δεύτερη εθνική κατηγορία την προηγούμενη χρονιά. Στο γήπεδο εκείνη την ημέρα βρέθηκε αρκετός κόσμος που πήγε να παρακολουθήσει τις προσπάθειες των παιχτών των δυο ομάδων. Το παιχνίδι χαρακτηρίστηκε από αρκετή ένταση και νεύρα. Λίγο ο υπάρχων εκνευρισμός, λίγο και οι αποφάσεις του διαιτητή και οι διαμαρτυρίες του προπονητή των φιλοξενούμενων Γαϊτάνο, προκάλεσαν την "έκρηξη" των φίλων της Κορίνθου οι οποίοι άρχισαν να εκτοξεύουν δεκάδες μπουκάλια προς το μέρος του. Από τη "βροχή" μπουκαλιών που δέχτηκε ο Γαϊτάνος σωριάστηκε τραυματισμένος στο ταρτάν του περιβάλλοντα χώρου του γηπέδου. Ο αγώνας διακόπτηκε για αρκετά λεπτά της ώρας, μέχρι με την παρέμβαση παιχτών και αστυνομίας να σταματήσει η εκτόξευση αντικειμένων και να σηκωθεί τελικά ο ατυχής προπονητής. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pyro-Greece // The Voice of Greek Ultras

Chalk's Ocean Airways Flight 101 was an aircraft crash that occurred off Miami Beach, Florida, in the United States on December 19, 2005. All 20 passengers and crew on board the 1947 Grumman G-73T Turbine Mallard died in the crash, which was attributed to metal fatigue on the starboard wing resulting in separation of the wing from the fuselage.It was the only fatal passenger incident for Chalk's Ocean Airways.
