Olympiacos Football Club , also known simply as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos C.F.P. (Oλυμπιακός Σύνδεσμος Φιλάθλων Πειραιώς Olympiakós Sýndesmos Filáthlon Peiraiós, "Olympic Club of Fans of Piraeus"), is a Greek professional football club based in Piraeus. Part of the major multi-sport club Olympiacos CFP, their name was inspired from the ancient Olympic Games and along with the club's emblem, the laurel-crowned Olympic athlete, symbolize the Olympic ideals of ancient Greece.

Olympiacos is parent to a number of different competitive departments including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Water Polo, Handball, Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Boxing and Sailing amongst many others, which have won numerous European and domestic titles over the club's history.Olympiacos CFP is one of the most successful and decorated multi-sport clubs in Europe, being the only Greek club, as well as one of the few European multi-sport clubs to have won as much as 15 International titles –including 13 major European titles, 1 Intercontinental title and 1 Balkan title– in five sports (Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Water Polo, Wrestling) (no other Greek club have won more than six European titles).
