Molecular gastronomy
Molecular gastronomy

Molecular gastronomy is the scientific approach of cuisine from primarily the perspective of chemistry. The composition , properties (mass, viscosity, etc) and transformations (chemical reactions, reactant products) of an ingredient are addressed and utilized in the preparation and appreciation of the ingested products.

Multisensory integration

Multisensory integration, also known as multimodal integration, is the study of how information from the different sensory modalities may be integrated by the nervous system. A coherent representation of objects combining modalities enables animals to have meaningful perceptual experiences.

Data fusion
Data fusion

Data fusion is the process of integrating multiple data sources to produce more consistent, accurate, and useful information than that provided by any individual data source. Data fusion processes are often categorized as low, intermediate, or high, depending on the processing stage at which fusion takes place.

Extended reality

Extended reality is a catch-all term to refer to augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality or mediated reality (MR), letting "X" be an arbitrary variable that can interpolate between these various realities or eXtrapolate (eXtend) beyond them. The technology is intended to combine or mirror the physical world with a "digital twin world" able to interact with it.The fields of virtual reality and augmented reality are rapidly growing and being applied in a wide range of areas such as entertainment, marketing, real estate, training, maintenance and remote work.

Snoezelen
Snoezelen

Snoezelen or controlled multisensory environment is a therapy for people with autism and other developmental disabilities, dementia or brain injury. It consists of placing the person in a soothing and stimulating environment, called the "Snoezelen room", a form of sensory room.

Multisensory worship

Multisensory worship or multi-sensory worship is a form of alternative worship, often associated with the emerging church. Multisensory worship is usually corporate worship that is designed to engage the senses.

Radar tracker

A radar tracker is a component of a radar system, or an associated command and control system, that associates consecutive radar observations of the same target into tracks. It is particularly useful when the radar system is reporting data from several different targets or when it is necessary to combine the data from several different radars or other sensors.

Image fusion

The image fusion process is defined as gathering all the important information from multiple images, and their inclusion into fewer images, usually a single one. This single image is more informative and accurate than any single source image, and it consists of all the necessary information.

Multimodal learning
Multimodal learning

Multimodal learning, in context of machine learning, is deep learning from a combination of various modalities of data, often arising in real-world applications. An example of multi-modal data is data that combines text with imaging data consisting of pixel intensities and annotation tags.

Multisensory learning

Multisensory learning is the assumption that individuals learn better if they are taught using more than one sense . The senses usually employed in multisensory learning are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile – VAKT (i.e.
